She grew up in a musical family when she was young. She showed her strong memory and imitation ability of music melody, and began to learn singing skills with vocal music teachers. The University studied in the TV Department of Communication University of China, majoring in radio and television editing and directing. She signed a contract with Beijing Star disc Culture Development Co., Ltd. to become its own artist. She released individual singles and participated in commercial performances. During this period, she first came into contact with jazz music in Beijing CD jazz bar, so she was deeply fascinated. Since then, she began to learn jazz songs and embarked on the road of becoming a jazz singer. She has performed in Aria bar of China Hotel, Park Hyatt Hotel, Beijing Liang bar, big easy happy station bar and other occasions. During this period, she has accumulated experience in performing jazz and a large number of jazz song library. Her singing style tends to standard jazz, including swing, bossa nova, ballad and other traditional jazz styles. She has cooperated with famous jazz musicians such as Jinfo, Xia Jia and Huang Yong. In the past few years, she has performed in hotels and bars all over the country, including curve cigar bar of Ritz Carlton Hotel in Shenzhen, Ritz Carlton Hotel in Sanya, and haiweilin bar of Lishunde hotel in Tianjin. After returning to Beijing, she began to perform in major jazz clubs in the form of individuals or bands, including “bricks, Fugue, Tango by ala house, blue note, river and lake bar”etc. her Quintet was invited to perform in Tsinghua University's free night activities. During this period, she has the honor to meet and learn from many Chinese and foreign jazz musicians. In more than ten years of professional performance activities, She has learned and improved her singing skills, maintained the delicate and unique style of voice line, explored and learned Jazz impromptu singing method, and was able to sing works with great contrast across styles.

Christine Xu, Jazz Vocalist Studied in NewYorkCity,learned Classic piano since childhood. In the summer of 2015, she participated in the jazz vocal Workshop of jazz singer and composer Annie Chen. During the days in USA,she studied under Jazz musician Chareneè Wade (the first runner up in the vocal contest of Thelonious Monk in 2010).After graduating from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, she studied in Germany, and lived in Berlin, where she studied under artistic director Claar ter Horst of the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin and artistic director professor Alexander Schmalcz of the Conducting Department of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ Leipzig.In August 2019, she went to the Aaron Copland School of Music, Queens College,CUNY to study for the Master's degree in Jazz Vocal Performance.She studied under Charenee Wade ,David Berkman, Jeb Patton, Dennis Mackrel, Antonio Hart, Grammy Award winning professor Michael Mossman and others to learn singing, improvisation, jazz theory, composition, arrangement, etc. While in New York, she was active in jam sessions at famous jazz clubs like Smoke, Room623, etc.She is currently active in many major domestic jazz venues, including Blue Note Beijing, Beijing Cloud Nine Club, JALC Lincoln Jazz Shanghai Center,Shanghai Jz Club, Hangzhou JZ Huanglou Jazz Club, Shenzhen Meeting Jazz, etc.

Swift is a Canadian musician and songwriter who has released 12 albums and 1 DVD project since 1996 through her own label “Few’ll Ignite Sound.” Her most recent album “Sticks & Stones” (2017) combines several different styles including jazz, folk, gypsy, rock, R&B, electronic, pop and even Klezmer. In 2014, Ember was the third-place national winner of the popular Chinese performance competition show entitled Mama Miya 妈妈咪呀, wowing Chinese audiences with her talent and Mandarin fluency. Ember sings in three languages (English, French, Chinese) and coupled with her signature elastic-jazz vocals, eclectic musical styles and poignant astute lyrics, this “folk” artist becomes hard to categorize but impossible to forget.
