Satoshi Kataoka is a guitarist, composer and arranger living in New York City. He attended the Jazz Performance program at The City College of New York where he studied with world acknowledged musicians like, John Patittuci, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves and many others.

Satoshi has had opportunities to play with some great players such as John McNeil (Horace Silver, Tom Harrell, Billy Hart, Bob Brookmeyer), Joe Martin (Chris Potter, Brad Mehldau, Fred Hersch, Maria Schneider), Jochen Rueckert (Mark Turner, Marc Copland, Pat Metheny, Sam Yahel) and many more.

In 2015, he has released his first album, “Fall Into the Place” which consists of all his original pieces from the Surca music. The album recorded with Adam Kolker (Billy Hart, Paul Motian), Pablo Menares (Melissa Aldana’s Crush trio, Claudia Acuna) and Allan Mednard (Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aaron Parks).

本土夫妻档组合，独立音乐人，教师。
歌手Ellen师从美国声乐导师Anna Bonita.
吉他手大龙师从台湾著名音乐导师翟黑山
二人活跃在国内个个大舞台8年之久，同时任教于北京现代音乐研修学院。

Ellen和大龙相识在2010年的一次乐队排练，乐队的主要风格是Jazz和Blues。相识是因为音乐，从2012年开始二人就以组合形式出现在京城大大小小的Live House至今。为了让演出音乐流派多元化，现在又加入了Funk Soul R&B Reggae 等曲风了。

他们的现场风格是活跃的自由的，像爵士乐一样，使人偶尔深思 但多为轻松与欢乐。现场翻唱经典曲目即兴成分很多，原创歌曲，例如《涩?爱》《你认识你自己吗》等等又为以音乐画面感为主的意识流音乐。所以每次现场演出 就像一次朋友间的围炉，你能感受到的很多，因为他们相信，音乐是人生不可或缺的一部

2016年Ellen与大龙 参加了浙江卫视《梦想的声音》节目录制并于第五期播出。节目中的选曲也是延续了他们以往的音乐风格。《走钢索的人》与《Paradise》两首改编翻唱歌曲，被很多听众以及现场导师认可。
同年歌手Ellen还参与录制了云南卫视《中国情歌汇》节目。

THE RADIANCE And new string quartet

Formed in Beijing by singer/songwriter Miranda Vukasovic in 2015, creates music through a kaleidoscope of fragile emotions, including art and visual projects into their performances.

THE RADIANCE produced their first LP at the Forbidden City Studio in Beijing during 2016. The same year THE RADIANCE was invited to perform their music in one of the most exciting venue in Beijing, the"Temple of Wisdom", a 250 years old Buddhist temple.

THE LYRICS narrates experiences of freedom and life, between the boundaries of control obsessed society. THE RADIANCE is exploring the possibilities of powerful relationship among the sounds from around the world. Each project is unique and try to awaken a different experience each time, THE RADIANCE has performed with different visual artists and musicians.

Miranda is currently working on collection of poems and stories "Gold shaded Moon" which will be published this year, as well as " A mile in our Shoes" co-writer of the book along with 11 women from around the world that will be published in September and all the donations will help young women around the world.

THE MUSIC holds multiple sounds from throughout the world, touching electronic and RnB, classic rock and post grunge, blues and psychedelic rock.

The single THE FRAGILE STRENGTH that Miranda just released 3 weeks ago tells a tale of human emotions and the airy reality that we constantly try to grab a hold of, while on the other hand questioning our limits, resonating-almost like intuition-within us and transcending our humanity into an animalesque consciousness, where strength comes from fragility itself.

Eluvia China Tour Beijing Stop!

Beijing based rock band Eluvia invade School Bar for the Beijing stop of their current China tour!

Eluvia is an acoustic roots-based rock band that blends elements of western folk with Chinese traditional hammered dulcimer (yangqin). The international lineup shares a mix of original, thought-provoking music performed in both Chinese and English. Banjo, Mandolin, and Ukulele find their way alongside the yangqin, fused with electric guitar hooks, jangly acoustic guitar rhythms, and heartfelt vocal harmonies, all underpinned with a solid foundation of rhythm and groove. Poetry and melody are woven together creating beautiful, thought-inspiring musical tapestries. Rock music's unbridled passion collides with the subtlety of international folk instruments, creating a distinctly original amalgam.

Clarinetist Wang Tao has been touring the world, winning international competitions, recording with Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft and becoming an honorary citizen of Senna, France.
