Ember Swift is a Canadian musician and songwriter who has released 12 albums and 1 DVD project since 1996 through her own label “Few’ll Ignite Sound.” Her most recent album “Sticks & Stones” (2017) combines several different styles including jazz, folk, gypsy, rock, R&B, electronic, pop and even Klezmer. In 2014, Ember was the third-place national winner of the popular Chinese performance competition show entitled Mama Miya 妈妈咪呀, wowing Chinese audiences with her talent and Mandarin fluency. Ember sings in three languages (English, French, Chinese) and coupled with her signature elastic-jazz vocals, eclectic musical styles and poignant astute lyrics, this “folk” artist becomes hard to categorize but impossible to forget.

Korean jazz pianist Sejin Bae has been active on Beijing’s jazz scene over the past three years. Her traditional style is heavily influenced by her experiences from New York where she was a graduate at Queens College and studied with many jazz piano greats, as well as played at various gigs and concerts.

Rena is a senior singer active in Beijing Jazz stage. Her voice is exquisite and unique. Her impromptu syntax is rich and profound. She can sing works with great contrast across styles. In the performance activities of more than ten years, Rena has participated in many communication activities and competitions in the form of individual or band, which has been recognized by a wide range of audience and industry.

Liu Kefu, a jazz vocalist in Beijing. He started his music education at 6, and showed a great passion for music. It’s in Vienna Austria that he met his tutor Leila Thigpen, who taught him jazz singing. He’s enrolled in Gustav Mahler Music Institute in 2005 at the age of 19. 

He returned to China in 2010, and started his music career in Beijing. Together with his band ”Kefu jazz group”, he became a regular at the local jazz scenes and jazz festivals. In 2017, gave four special concerts with Seesaw Jazz Band for the 10th Samaa international Festival for Spiritual Music and Chanting in Cairo, Egypt. Released a jazz single “Good bye, Love” and received positive response in 2018. In April, 2019, gave a jazz concert for “k11 music fest” sponsored by Tencent Musicians in Guangzhou. Sang for CMA jazz big band’s “When Folk Meets Jazz” album in May, 2019.

As a tutor, he’s now teaching jazz singing techniques at Beijing Modern Music Institute.

DJ Lady Amy is first and foremost a lady doing lady things in a ladylike manner. She’s a voice actor, storyteller, and bicycle lover. She loves all types of music but has a particular fondness for early 2000s indie rock, which she will bestow upon your earbuds on Saturday night.

Early traditional music education allowed NOMERCY to have a broad music taste, guiding him a way to manage a variety of musical styles. Because of the black culture effects in his childhood, he is more into the West African Mandingo Music instruments which have a unique rhythm. He always mixes dance beats with GRIME, VLUB TRAX, FOOTWORK in his DJ Set, focusing on the melody convergence and atmosphere promotion.

In this way, he creates his strong personal DJ style. S!LK, an electronic and art brand rooted in Beijing, is good at promoting the sound of the future and manufacturing pioneer music live shows. The brand is organized by two young bloods and executed by Puzzy Stack, who is a new representative of Beijing's club music. Silk has invited lots of international producers like Slackk, Air Max' 97, Abyss X, Trekkie Trax, DJ Paypal, NAAFI, Bulma, and so on. It makes them influence the development of Beijing's underground music scene actively.

Song Yuning, pop music singer-songwriter and new folk musician, will start the "Three Miles of Flowers" China Tour 2021 from March to April, meeting fans in the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen during the blooming season, presenting new works and popular singles on site. All four stations are now on sale!
Song Yuning was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang in 1994, and grew up along the Songhua River. After officially graduating from the Central Conservatory of Music in 2016, he went to the Berkeley Conservatory of Music for further studies. After successfully graduating, he was admitted to the New York University Music Technology major as a graduate student in 2020. Over the years of professional study, Song Yuning has a solid foundation in singing and creation. His music covers a variety of elements such as pop, rock, and opera, which also forms a new folk music with his own personal style.

Emotional works of art can always move people naturally. During the creation process, he incorporated his own experiences and stories into the work, chanting and singing softly, so that every listener can find sympathy. The wide range allows him to switch between true and false high school bass with ease. The richly layered singing and emotional stage performance sometimes give people the feeling of gentle talk and sometimes vigorous momentum.
