Oysho

The Spanish company that brought fast fashion at reasonable prices to Beijing in the form of Zara, Pull and Bear, and more has added another offspring to the mix, this time in the form of barely-there bikinis, soft cotton loungewear and lacy lingerie. The bathing suit options offer a more fashionable range than you’ll find at other Western shops in the city. A range of patterns, colors and styles are up for grabs.

Deli de Luxe

Deli de Luxe is a gourmet food store and cafe located near the west gate of Chaoyang Park. Starting from breakfast, the cafe serves coffee made with locally-roasted beans and fresh organic milk (perfect with fresh-baked buttery pastries). Deli de Luxe offers a range of homemade cakes and sweets, healthy meals, and take-home goodies using fresh ingredients. The cafe also stocks delicatessen and antipasto items, fresh baguettes, wine, and more.

Alpha Wing

Alpha Wing’s multiple golf simulators give you 18 virtual holes that, unlike many golf courses built around Beijing, are totally legit, eco-friendly and don’t put you at risk of catching pneumonia. There are weekday and weekend rates, for the golf, and a fridge full of Asahi. The KTV bar downstairs is best ignored. It’s obviously nothing like playing real golf, but it’s more convenient (Shunyi residents may disagree), less humiliating and, most importantly, perfect for showcasing your finest Pringle knitwear. Advance booking recommended.
