Originally opened at No. 211 Caochangdi Art District in 2014, in 2018 Hunsand Space moved to 798 Art District. Ever since, they've specialized in contemporary art, and "hope to motivate people to find the ignored parts of the present culture and take the value of contemporary art ideas to you and me through on-going exhibitions and projects."

WeSpace is the new concert venue from technology mega-corporation Tencent. 

Founded in 2019, Sense Space initiates its independent art space at the 798 Art District in 2020. Facing the diversity of contemporary art practice, their team is dedicated to showcasing experimental work and engaging viewers in the experience. 

Spurs Gallery is one of the leading contemporary art galleries in China, representing more than 25 artists from all generations of the Chinese avant-garde, and collaborating with many more internationally.

Hyundai’s Beijing Motorstudio in a former factory building in Beijing’s 798 Art District includes everything from passive air purification, vegetation, and geothermal heating and cooling to exhibitions, programming, and a café, focusing on creating a clean, comfortable communal space.

Exhibitions here look at the intersection of art, design, and imagination, as well as new conceptions of mobility and the visualization of movement beyond conventional modes of representation.
