While I am traveling, I’d like to sublease my huge courtyard studio, which used to be three rooms. You will be enjoying the tranquility of a shaded yard with absolutely no traffic noise but birds chirping. It can be used for short-term stay between July 5-Aug 11 or as a long-term rental from Sep 1
- Central location: deep in a Hutong at Beixinqiao, Dongcheng District. 7 min walk to Beixinqiao Subway and 5-min walk to Guijie full of restaurants; 5-min bike ride to Confucius Temple/Lama Temple and Dongzhimen/Chunxiulu.
- 60sqm Studio with tilted high ceiling and a ceiling fan and strong AC. Currently arranged as children’s activity room but beds can be arranged for the summer, and furnitures can be removed for long-term sublease. Nice Yamaha piano
- 40sqm private shaded yard with swings, plants, table and chairs under two big walnut trees. Very comfortable and nice
- additional rooftop terrace with another big swing and table/chair with a nice Hutong view
- This house is 100 years old in a residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors and no loud parties.
- WiFi covered
- 15000RMB monthly. Deposit RMB25000. Long-term rent can be negotiable based on a time-sharing scheme

Billed as a "coffice," which we can only assume is an invitation to bring your laptop and get some work done, M+ Coffice is a gorgeous little space with downstairs seating as well as a terrace.

The menu at M+ Coffice includes some single-origin brews from Honduras (RMB 45), Ethiopia (RMB 38), and Indonesia (RMB 38) alongside a full espresso menu. There are also unique decaf options such as a matcha latte and a red velvet latte (RMB 35 each).

Originally located at nugget's old venue near Andingmen, Golden Weasel now shares space with Self Coffee on the main drag in Beixinqiao not too far from Gui Jie, turning from coffee shop by day to bar by night. The venue is more bright and open than the previous one, allowing for guests to drink both inside and out on the street late into the night as they imbibe on reasonably priced cocktails, beers, and expertly picked wines.
