Beijing's per-eminent street-punk band Demerit have had an extremely busy year, and are most certainly not resting on their laurels. The foursome toured Europe for over a month in March/April, and thereafter transitioned right into a tour all across China in cities big and small throughout May and June. Formed in 2003, Demerit have done it all. 13 years later, the band is still going strong, writing new songs, performing as if it's their first show ever, and doing it all with a huge smile on their face. Give Demerit a heroes welcome as their return to Beijing and finish their tour with a show at School!

Opening the show are friends of Demerit, fellow punks, and three of the most entertaining bands in the city. After releasing their debut album and touring throughout China last year, Bedstars are battle tested and never fail to deliver. "Punk with Chinese characteristics" trio the Shochu Legion write old-school Motorhead inspired punk tunes in a way that can win over any audience. The Demonstrators only formed a couple years ago but is made up of members of the Beijing punk scene who have bounced around different bands over the years; The Demonstrators write aggressive punk anthems and they have already developed a large following.
