This cozy Maizidian cafe and restaurant serves a variety of coffees and healthy western dishes.

Though its focus is on gluttonous Yunnan-style hot pot, Red Cloud Restaurant is also a great place to have noodles, have a glass of mijiu, or try traditional Yunnan side dishes like the fried shrimp balls or garlic chicken foot.

American-style bar and restaurant H3 won't need much introduction for many in the Liangmaqiao area. Taking over the space formerly occupied by Blue Marlin, H3 is a good option if you're looking for casual dining and good value drinks in this part of town.

Found at the front of Liangmaqiao’s Hello Mart, Hello Coffee strives to make visitors feel like Wonderland royalty with hints of Lewis Carrol’s tale throughout the shop. Prices are a bit higher than average, so maybe reserve it for an early morning breakfast date.

Meaning “The Chirping Ospreys,” Guanguan Jujiu is great for early breakfasters looking for a nice croissant breakfast sandwich or a veggie and cheese panini with their coffee.

Keep your eye out for the pandas, because that is the theme of this off-the-beaten-path shop. It’s a cozy little place with limited seating, but it will do for early commuters looking for their fix. 

Founded by the Beijing ICF street dance team, ICF Dance Studio offers various courses, many taught by award-winning teachers. The studio offers regular beginner classes that cater to all age groups, training programs for aspiring professional dancers, and one-to-one private sessions. Classes include popping, locking, breaking, hip-hop, and jazz. The studio also organizes dance-related activities beyond the classroom, such as chances to participate in dance battles, participate in a television recording, and meet foreign champions.  

One of Beijing's best late night hangouts, this small cocktail bar splits its space with French restaurant Bistro 108. Don't let that detract you, though. Esteemed bartender Travis Yuan (Good Bait, Daily Routine) makes Thai inspired drinks and snacks that are affordable and flavorful. 

The same team that brought you the now-defunct Good Bait has since opened Bonus Tracks, a bar which dutifully takes the reins from Bistro 108 after they're done serving up delicious French food in the day. The concept is quite different from Good Bait, with a focus on Thai-style bar snacks and cocktails.

CUE in Grand Summit attempts to begin where the much-missed Sanlitun Migas ended: with mid-to-upper-end dining and weekends that morph into all-night parties. The menu spans modern takes on Southeast Asian favorites as well as more Western-centric options like steak.

Cocktails cost between RMB 68 (house pours) to as high as RMB 188 for special drinks, meaning that regular party goers and the Linagmaqiao elite should find themselves at home – which is exactly the kind of crowd CUE is looking to draw.
