An alum of Beijing bar Glen is weathering stiff competition on Lucky Street with his own Maiden Voyage.

Try the wooden cup encased Charming (also RMB 90). Its homemade wax berry infused vodka is unique and delicious, and its blackberry and chambord liqueurs, splash of gin and mulberry garnish all give the cocktail a syrupy sweetness.

Stir Cocktail Bar

This modern, understated lounge is a novel departure from its swaths of ostentatious counterparts.

Don’t leave without trying their signature Apricot Old Fashioned. Its Wild Turkey whiskey base is infused with that eponymous tart fruit, before stirring in a smidgen of 10-year-old Laphroaig single malt to give the cocktail a smokey quality. If you like your drinks stiff, this mix will leave your upper lip rigid until you break into a delighted grin.

Marco's Teppan & Charcoal

True to its name, this teppanyaki spot is located on the second floor of Caochang Plaza (a hot dining hub as of late that also houses Bistro 108 and La Villa) the Japanese style barbecue spot serves up some highly tempting, sizzling fare. Try the beef wrapped okra skewers and scallops.

Peruvian cuisine is getting a long-deserved treatment and is lifted from the oblivion in Beijing F&B scene. Previously operating as a pop-up, Pachakutiq moves to stabler ground and has settled as Pachapapie. Expect sushi rolls, ceviche, salads, and other Peruvian delights and cocktails that will satisfy both your curiosity for this underrepresented cuisine and your rumbling stomach.

Signature's Restaurant (Kempinski Hotel)

What was once Kranzler's, Kempinski Hotel rebrands their signature restaurant simply ass Signature's Restaurant, a contemporary all-day dining restaurant with a focus on European cuisine with other international elements. The menu was curated by the hotel's collective team of chefs who hail from seven different countries and serves breakfast (6-10.30am), an unlimited semi-buffet business lunch (11.30am-2.30pm), and an à la carte dinner (5.30-10.30pm).

Chez Suzy

Chez Suzy, literally Suzy’s home, feels like a European bistro: antique chandeliers, oil paintings, heavy wooden tables, and cherry-red leather booths fill the space and additional of mosaics, an open kitchen, wine bottles galore, and a large al fresco seating area fill the gaps.

Cicingstore

Cicingstore is a small café in the FX Hotel near Liangma River that offers a handful of coffees and teas at RMB 20-22, as well as shelves full of prepackaged and assorted teas, chia seeds, energy bars, muesli, jam, nuts, coconut water, masks, and various home knick-knacks. In fact, their produce is so varied that you can even join a Spanish class organized by the owners.
