I went there with a friend after we both read about it.
The place is amazing, with a design combining glass and wood and warm colours.
It is located across the "river" and the terrace is a joy.
Our only prb was with the food.
I have been to the Vineyard in Wudaoying, but it was a while ago and I guess the menu is a bit different now. Since I am not a meat eater, my choice of options was much more restricted. We both ordered L size salads, and were expecting to get a big salad. However, when we got the salads, our first reaction was that the waiter got the reservation wrong and keyed in small instead of big. But, alas, it was the correct order. The size was ridiculously small, and completely not worth the 50+ kuai per salad.
Because we enjoyed the atmosphere, we decided to stay. After about half an hour we started to feel hungry again. So we decided to order smth that will "fill us up". The choice was Fish & Chips and Hummus dip with pitta bread. I must say that the hummus was not bad, but the fish and chips, again, completely overpriced for what you get! 68 RMB for this dish should be illegal.
While the prices and the portions match a gourmet place, the quality of the food does not.
To conclude, if you are a vegetarian, this is not the place for dinner. It is, however, perfect for an afternoon/ evening drink with friends and the weekend brunch menu looks nice, breakfast wise.

Re: The place itself is amazing, the value for money not so ...
This is the most expensive part of Beijing, with a view of the river….were you expecting 20Y salads?

No, I expected value for my money and if I pay 50 RMB per salad, I don't expect t be hungry half an hour later.
And it is not the most expensive part of Beijing.
