Ding Junhui is a hero to millions. He's a healthily proportioned lad (that's a euphemism for him looking a bit portly) in the true tradition of snooker players. It's no surprise that his snooker club is fat (snooker and slang go hand-in-hand). This club might be all the way out in Fengtai but it is run by his Dad and it contains Ding's practice table - reason alone for Ding fans to get on down. If that's not enough then it has pool and snooker tables and they sell alcohol to get your cueing arm loose. But there is one reason better than all of these to go and that is to see the blown-up photo of Ding at Liverpool's Aintree Racecourse wearing a full tracksuit and adopting a gangster pose. That's a big look.
