As the write up above says, you know exactly what you're getting with Aijisen. The food here is far from exceptional, but it's very decent, and on countless visits over several years in Beijing it's never varied.
I tend to avoid the noodle dishes with meat, as they're not exactly generous with the amount of meat, and what there is tends to be very fatty - just as northerners like it. If you like thick strips of heart attack generating animal flab with your meat then the actual quality isn't bad.
Personally, I generally go for the vegetable noddles, as the vegies tend to come in more generous serves and are hence better value for money.
The fried dumplings aren't bad either, if a little oily.
Service varies from average to pretty hopeless, but that's par for the course.
All in all, an ok lunch time option if you want reasonable value for money.
