Saw that All-Star got the "Best Burger 2009" award where that said that, "best thing to In-N-Out's revered classic". Decided to take my gf there for dinner last night.
What Rocked
1. Decor.
2. Number of screens.
3. Clean toilet room!
4. French fries.
What Sucked
1. No movies on "Monday Movie Night".
2. Waiter said that the "Monday Movie Night" buy one beer get one free was no longer valid even though it was posted on every table in the bar! I had to argue to get the special.
3. Ordered the classic burger with cheese and grilled onions. Also the fried popcorn shrimp.
4.The grilled onions turned out to be grilled "diced" onion rather than the expected grilled "rings" of onion.
5. The cheese was completely melted and was dripping all over me and the table.
6. Had to ask for a knife and fork to eat the shrimp.
7. Waiter tried to serve to shrimp to the table next to ours.
8. Both beers (which were for me) were served at the same time so the second one was warm by the time I got to drink it. The waiter should have known that the beers were for me as mu gf ordered a soft drink.
9. The shrimp which was an appetizer came last. Soda for my gf first, then burger then shrimp quite late.
All in all a very disappointing evening meal but the burger was tastey butvery, very messy. I will not be going back.
