About Us: We are a local tech family (CTO Dad & Exec Mom) living in the DaTun / YaYunCun(大屯/亚运村) area. We have a curious, energetic 2.5-year-old boy named Aha. He loves excavators, LEGOs, and exploring nature.
The Role: We are NOT looking for a traditional teacher. We don't want textbooks, flashcards, or lesson plans. We are looking for a Playmate / Big Brother (or Sister) to engage Aha in Deep Play using 100% English.
Your Mission:
Play: Build complex LEGO structures, role-play with toy cars (excavators!), and run around in the park.
Immerse: Talk to him constantly during play. Describe what you see, what you are building, and tell stories.
Connect: Be a fun, engaging companion. Make him laugh and love interacting in English.
Requirements:
Native Speaker Only: Must be from US, UK, Canada, Australia, or NZ. (Standard accent preferred).
OR possess an accent indistinguishable from a native speaker. (Note: We have a strong preference for a North American accent).
High Energy: You must genuinely enjoy playing with toddlers. Can you crawl on the floor? Can you make funny voices for a Pikachu toy?
Background: University students, grad students, or young professionals preferred. Psychology/Arts/Engineering majors are a huge plus.
Availability: 2-3 times a week, Weekdays
What We Offer:
Great Pay: 450-600 RMB/ 3 hours (paid weekly/monthly).
Zero Stress: No prep work needed. Just bring your energy.
Respect: We treat our partners like family/friends. Snacks & coffee provided ( very quality coffee beans).
