Summer Palace-颐和园

Palace Garden Hotel and Resorts

Palace Garden Hotel provides a space for tourists to enjoy Beijing's rich history and sights. Staff can offer travel tips for independent and family trips, romantic weekends away, and package tours.

Located in one of Beijing's core business zones in northern Haidian district, adjacent to Yongfeng and Zhongguancun Software Park, the hotel is only 45 minutes' drive away form Beijing Capital International Airport. It takes less than 35 minutes by car to reach the city's main railway stations and only 5 minutes to the offices of Baidu and Lenovo.

Uhland Bier Salon

Complete with waitresses in milkmaid dresses and a stage set for live music, this is a cheery west side appropriation of Drei Kronen 1308. Sad to say, but if you live in Chaoyang, Uhland isn’t really worth your trouble. They do make two very drinkable beers on site (light and dark, available in 300ml to 1 liter glasses), which are cheaper than Drei Kronen’s admittedly quality brews. Unfortunately, the cab fare will wipe out your saving. However, if you live around Wudaokou or Zhongguancun, Uhland is well worth an evening of your life.
