Wangjing, Huajiadi and Lido-望京花家地丽都

Big King BJJ and Muay Thai

BIG KING BJJ and Muay Thai opened in 2011 and is located in Wangjing. Classes taught include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(BJJ), Muay Thai(Thai Boxing) and Reality-Based Self-Defence (RBSD). At this school, students can improve their health and develop strength, stamina, motor coordination and flexibility.

BIFT Works

The Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (BIFT) opened this store to provide public exposure for its young designers and kick start their experience in brand management. As such, this store showcases one-of-a-kind student creations and is clearly a labor of love and completely in the hands of students.

Though the shop may be a bit off the beaten track by being tucked away on the second floor of Aegean Shopping Center, it’s worth the trip if only to support budding local designers. And don’t be surprised if one of your prized finds soon ends up featured in the pages of Vogue.

Chicken Suutak

A cozy and intimate late night eatery with tasty yet reasonably-priced food. Portions are generous in this tiny and cramped establishment. Menu includes Chili Sauce Chicken Wings (RMB 45) and Boneless Hot Sauce Chicken (RMB 45), both featuring the uniqueness of Korean fried chicken: super crunchy, rich on sauces (chili, sweet and hot, soy sauce, etc.) and option for boneless chicken which is really thick on batter and won't get the sauce all over your face.
