From September 13th to November 28th, world-renowned symphony orchestras and in-demand maestros will enchant the audiences at the “NCPA Pure Classical 2018”, a NCPA series that presents absolute essentials of classical music in the autumn. The star-studded classical music feast invites orchestras Berliner Philharmoniker, the Staatskapelle Dresden, Das Orchester Der Staatsoper Berlin, Orchestra dell´Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, conductors Gustavo Dudamel, Christian Thielemann, Daniel Barenboim, Sir Antonio Pappano, artists Lang Lang, Annie-Sophie Mutter and Emmanuel Pahud, to name just a few.

American conductor Lawrence Foster is the Music Director of l’Opéra de Marseille, a position he has held since 2013. In December 2017, he was appointed to the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, beginning in September 2019. Previously, he has been the music director of Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, Orchestre philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, among others. The Gulbenkian Orchestra, whose music director Lawrence Foster has been for ten years, appointed him Conductor Laureate; he has toured with this orchestra across the world, partnering with leading soloists such as Lang Lang, including in Germany, Spain, Brazil as well as major festival destinations.

The Konzerthausorchester Berlin, founded in 1952 as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (BSO), achieved recognition and international acclaim under principal conductor Kurt Sanderling (1960-1977). In 1984, the orchestra received its own venue at the Schauspielhaus Berlin on Gendarmenmarkt Square. In 2006, it was renamed Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Since the 2012/13 season, Iván Fischer has been the principal conductor of the Konzerthausorchester, with Juraj Valčuha as principal guest conductor since 2017/18. From 2019/20, Christoph Eschenbach will succeed Fischer as principal conductor.

The "Halloween Carnival Party" hosted by the famous domestic rock brand VIGÖR (formerly The Virgins) is once again dressed up, 10.31, Black Wednesday,Yue Space! As the most landmark event in the fall of the Beijing Asian Cultural Trends Center every year, the VIGÖR label has been hosted for the sixth consecutive year.

Chinese black metal act Be Persecuted returns to the stage for a rare Beijing appearance, facing off against Ancestor, one of the foremost old school thrash metal groups in China. Punisher, speed metal act Tumourboy, Scare the Children and punk rockers Miss Mix round out the lineup.

Surrounded by the Balkan Mountains and encompassed by the Danube River, Bulgaria is dubbed by some as “the Land of Roses”. However, for avid music fans, Bulgaria should never be known only for her roses, but also for the many extraordinary musicians she has nurtured, one of whom the rising Jazz star, Ruth Koleva.

尽管在成长的过程中经历了许多艰辛，Ruth并没有放弃自己的梦想，而是将不屈不挠的精神融入到了自己的音乐当中。在保加利亚当地的音乐圈多次曝光，并在好莱坞流行音乐学院短暂停留后，她于2011年发布了自己的首张专辑《Within Whisper》。该专辑一经发售就在保加利亚引起巨大反响，广受当地听众好评。

Despite the fact that she experienced all kinds of hardships as she grew up, Ruth never gave up her own dream. She infused her perseverant spirit into the songs she created. Having gained exposure in local music circle in Bulgaria multiple times, and having spent a year at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, she released her first album “Within Whisper” in 2011. The album was greeted with a huge, enthusiastic audience who were eager to voice their love for the album.

The album is indicative of Ruth’s restless spirit and her growth. She flirted with her old-time self and faced directly the demon in her heart, consistently finding pleasure in her personal development. Despite the wide critical acclaim she received, Ruth was not content with the status quo. Later, she shared the stage with legends including jazz vocalist Bobby McFerrin and famous singer Lauryn Hill. Mark Lawson has even interacted with Ruth on Twitter.

As she improved herself by sharing the stage with world-class musicians, she was also invited by the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra to a collaboration, the first and the only collaboration the orchestra has had with a non-classical musician. In 2015, Ruth performed with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra at the Bulgaria Hall to widespread acclaim. She was invited to perform in a second concert two years later.
