Eric，the soul of band: The Peppercorns

EllGroup invited the producer Snad from Berlin on August 25th. We will experience a House Voice across Chicago and Berlin at Lantern.

Snad launched his musical career at 14 in a bedroom near Philadelphia, USA. Now 25, based out of Berlin again, Snad is unswervingly establishing himself amongst elite global House and Techno Producers and DJs.

He kicked off 2016 with an in-store event at the legendary Gramaphone Records in Chicago to mark the launch of Gandu Records, a collaborative vinyl-only project with Ignatius Camilo (Cirrus/Goa). The project is already heralding early support from the likes of Seth Troxler, Jane Fitz, Michael Serafini and Garrett David.

Snad cut his teeth on Chicago’s WNUR 89.3 Streetbeat Radio. Shortly after his tenure at WNUR, he shifted to Berlin and had the opportunity to play at numerous clubs, festivals and open air events across Germany, including the world renowned Golden Pudel.

2016 was characterized by vinyl only sets at the legendary Flash Club in DC, Spybar in Chicago, and local Berlin institutions such as Sisyphos, Mensch Meier, Chalet and Anita Berber! 2017 is already off to a great start with vinyl only sets at KB18 in Copenhagen, Thalassa in Bangalore, Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit, GEM Fest in Georgia, Ramsau in Austria, Sisyphos and IPSE in Berlin, and a two month residency at Cirrus, Goa.

Snad continues to spend a lot of time in the studio, producing numerous forms of house and techno. The past year was marked by exclusive vinyl releases for labels such as Smallville Records, Minibar Music, Abartik and BodyParts, now available for purchase.

Last by not least, collaborations with Jakob Seidensticker (Wareika) and Boronas (Square Room Heroes) on Lessizmore, Andromeda, Pleasure Zone and Gandu slated for early 2018 release are well on their way to the pressing plant.

Michał Ciesielski - Composer, arranger and jazz pianist. He completed his studies in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he received his master’s degree as a jazz composer and jazz pianist. He also studied for a year in the Institut of Jazz in Katowice.

He has composed almost one hundred compositions (contemporary music, film and theatre music, chamber and symphonic music as well as pop songs and many more). He was awarded in several international and national music competitions such as: the International Krzysztof Komeda Composition Competition, Big Sky Jazz Festival, RCK Pro Jazz Festival, School & Jazz Festiwal, Novum Jazz Festival, European Jazz Contest and many more.

Apart from being the leader in Confusion Project, with which he recorded 3 albums and played over 100 concerts, Michał performs in many other bands, such as: Ad Shave, Do Se Sajd, Visegrad Quintet, Tribute To Turnau, Gaba Janusz Quintet Aga Maciaszczyk Quintet. He also performs with his solo project “Between Black & White” He collaborated with many musicians, such as: Maciej Sikała, Piotr Lemańczyk, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Krystyna Prońko, Maciej Grzywacz, Marcin Gawdzis, Grzegorz Nagórski, Cezary Paciorek, Marcin Jahr or Brian Fentress. As a pianist Michał toured all around Poland as well as Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Nederlands, Russia, China and Kazakhstan.

Gabriel Pitts A.K.A GMAN,is a musician-Entertainer and one of the most sought after,versatile talents on the national and international music scenes today. Hailing from Jacksonville,FL his musical skills,including Drums,Percussion,Keyboards,Lead & Background Vocals,as well as music direction,have taken him around the world.

Performing since at the age of 2,GMAN found a strong foundation in the Church,where he played in his first band. His love for music was further cultivated at Florida’s Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and later at Florida Community College where he majored in Music and continued to build upon his natural talents with solid instruction in music notation and theory. It wasn’t long before he was working professionally at age 14,lending his musical skills to a variety of diverse production types including Broadway musicals,numerous concerts,tours,and various churches and conventions in the Gospel circuit.

As a drummer,he has played for musical stage palys including Ain’t Misbehavin’ & Dreamgirls and was also Pit Conductor in the touring Gospel Musical Make That Change,which stared R&B recording artist,Tony Terry. As a drummer/vocalist he has toured with veteran bands such as One,Tangee,Renee & Club Visage,Absence of Color(AOC) and Excel. In concert he opened for artist such as Millie Jackson,Clarence Carter and gospel sensation John P.Kee; and he’s jammed with the likes of Dave Koz and hit recording artist like All-4-One and The Black Eyed Peas to name a few.

Not only a consummate entertainer,but also an enterprising businessman. He is also a member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) and founder of his own company,All Live Entertainment.

He got his BA degree in Ethnomusicology and MA degree in Music Education from CCOM and his BA degree and MA degree in Prestigious Jaques-Dalcroze Method from Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve. He studied PianoForte, Clavichord, Harpsichord under Swiss Keyboard Master Michel Kiener, holds Superior Certificate of classical improvisation under David Marteau from HEM, He also pursued Contemporary Dance Technique and Improvisation Training under Emilio Artessero Quesada. He has been active in the Beijing Jazz Scene since 2016, performed with Jazz musicians such as: Jazz Drummer Billy Ge, XiaoDou, Antonio Fusco,French Chromatic Harmonica Master Laurent Maur, Flutist Emile Calme, Jazz Saxophonist Nathaniel Gao, Wu LeTian, Jazz Bassist Wang ChenHuai, Xing YiFan.
