Yunnan folk artist Wei Dong (Winter) appears at Mogu Space for a concert. A member of the Yi ethnic minority, he discovered music as a teenager and never looked back. He’s known for songs like Wandering Diary, chronicling life on the road through Chengdu, Dali and Lijiang as he lives the itinerant of a wandering bard.

University of Washington student Huang Yulei is famous for his song Love Rhinoceros. He appears at Snail Hostel for his first Beijing concert. Some say he’s a folk singer, others that he’s a pop star, and some that he’s a rock and roller, but all agree that he puts on a good show.

One night, four great bands: White Paper, Gray, 37.5 Degrees and Poison Balloon invade 13 Club for a pre-April Fools Day concert. The concert showcases some of Beijing’s best college rock, with bands from all over the university town gathering to perform.

Taiwanese indie rockers Liu Beibei and Zeng Lixin will appear at Moguspace. Zeng Lixin is a creative singer from Taiwan. She spent last year touring Taiwan in support of her album You Want To Hear That and now makes her way to Beijing. She’s joined by guitarist and songwriter Liu Beibei.

Yugong Yishan presents a host of great bands for a concert ‘with foes.’ Friends are there to support you, but foes challenge you and unleash your greatness, so come for a concert of adversarial music featuring singer-songwriter Chu Qiao, hip-hop/rock DJ Zhang Ran, Liquid Oxygen Can frontman Zhang Yu, reggae guitarist Gao Xu and Cedric and Matt from metal band Scare the Children.

Joy Stuhr Cello Trio with Joy Stuhr (US), Nicole Jhang (CN), Heike Kagler (GE).

Joy Stuhr is a classically trained, multi-instrumental singer-songwriter with an imaginative sound. She performs and composes on piano, cello and guitar. She had a BA in music and Masters in Education.

Originally from Wisconsin, Joy lived abroad for several years. She first lived in Latin America where she developed a youth music program in Panama City. She then moved to Germany composing, performing and recording music while teaching music at the International Music School in Berlin. During her time in Berlin she co-founded "The Musical Ambassadors" project that united Western and Ghanaian traditional music.

She now lives in Beijing where she continues performing original music and "The Musical Ambassadors" that is now incorporating African, Western and traditional Chinese music.

On the agenda for this evening is the next installment in School Bar's "Bad Education" series! At this "school" there are no teachers or homework, only rock n' roll and booze!

Fresh off opening for Casino Demon and Da Bang in late March, The Hotline have continued to gain momentum after a strong 2016 and perform their brand of electro-infused rock n' roll. Also set to play are the much hyped rock n' roll outfit Backspace, female fronted electro alt rock duo Pacalolo, and the Britpop garage rock of The Diagon Alley!

Local label and promotions group Cold Neo are throwing one heck of a Saturday evening bash with a trio of bands from their roster and special guests as well.

Set to play from the Cold Neo roster are the newly signed punk with Chinese characteristics trio Skin Bad, ambient post-rock group XianTong, as well as the trippy pop rock foursome Moland. Not too shabby!

Joining the fun are the female punk rock troupe Free Sex Shop in addition to LinCe!
