Guo Gan started learning erhu in early childhood from his father Guo Jun Ming (果俊明), also a renowned erhu master.
In 2000, Guo Gan went to France to study and later obtained Master degree from the National Music School of Fresnes in Paris. During this period, he founded first Chinese Jazz band – Dragon Jazz in Paris and won the second place at the European Chinese musician competition in Belgium in 2002.

Song Yuzhe is the founder and front-man of underground rock band “Mu Tui Gua” and alternative-folk-world band "Da Wang Gang". In the dialog with Song Yuzhe, you will catch some shadow of religon, You will get some answer about his roving or direction, And you will also see a heart which is still a bit wild, but peaceful.His music involves word music, traditional folk, rock, improvisation, experimental etc.

In 1998, Song Yuzhe built the band Wood Push Melon(Mu Tui Gua).In 2009, he built the band Da Wang Gang. He has played in Midi music festival in China and Roskilde, Womad, some festivals abroad. The album 《荒腔走选段》 has received the German record critics award.

Expat troubadour Mark Levine and traditional Chinese instrumentalist Fu Han perform their multlingual song and story set. The performance features American style folk, traditional Chinese music, and stories from Mark and Fu that are both specific to Chinese and expat life while also being universal.
