Lilith Liu


is a jazz vocalist, graduated from renowned Tianjin Conservatory. She was given a full scholarship to pursue her studies of Musical Theatre Performance at Oklahoma City University, She started to Perform at Jazz clubs worldwide ever since. Lilith was invited to perform on the Chinese premire and press conference of Oscar wining movie LALA LAND by its music department. As one of the youngest Chinese jazz diva,her collaborated with top musicians from New York,shanghai and Beijing, her already extensive stage experience has let her develop aunique repertoire. Through her careful selection of songs, she pays tribute to not only her main vocal influences like Nina Simone, Betty Carter, Anita O’Day or Ella Fitzgerald, but also to her inspiring musical heroes like Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Chet Baker or Art Blakey.Her vocal performance combines delicacy and technical mastery for soulful renditions of classics without neglecting improvisation essential to this art form.



Michał Ciesielski


Composer, arranger and jazz pianist. He completed his studies in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he received his master’s degree as a jazz composer and jazz pianist. He also studied for a year in the Institut of Jazz in Katowice.


He has composed almost one hundred compositions (contemporary music, film and theatre music, chamber and symphonic music as well as pop songs and many more). He was awarded in several international and national music competitions such as: the International Krzysztof Komeda Composition Competition, Big Sky Jazz Festival, RCK Pro Jazz Festival, School & Jazz Festival and more.


Apart from being the leader in Confusion Project, with which he recorded 3 albums and played over 100 concerts, Michał performs in many other bands, such as: Ad Shave, Alicja Serowik Quartet, Visegrad Quintet, Tribute To Turnau, Gaba Janusz Quintet. He also performs with his solo project “Between Black & White”


As a pianist Michał toured all around Poland as well as Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Nederlands, Russia, China and Kazakhstan.

Laptop improviser, noise player. By processing meaningless and fragmented sounds in a nonlinear-time approach, she explores the theme of ”time and existence” especially in various environmental contexts. Kyle was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and grew up in Bloomington. He currently lives between Verona, Italy and Beijing, China, teaching and performing Jazz all over the world. He studied music performance and education at Berklee College of Music, Indiana University, and the University of Northern Colorado, completing his doctorate in 1995. In 1991 he received the prestigious Fulbright Grant for a year of pedagogical research in Hungary, exploring new methods of teaching improvisation.

Huang Sijia (Yiyi) is a young jazz pianist and singer. Born into a family of music in 2001, he is currently studying jazz piano performance at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. He studied under Professor Cui Honggen of the Central Conservatory of Music and Professor Zhang Fang of Yamaha artist during the domestic high school. In 2015, he won the third place in the University of Utah Piano Competition, the first place in the Youth Group A of the Brandenburg International Piano Competition, and the third place in the 2016 National Yamaha Scholarship Concerto Competition. In 2017, he was admitted to the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music for the classical piano major and was under the guidance of classical musician Awadagin Pratt. I was deeply influenced by jazz music in school, and transferred to the Department of Jazz Studies (Jazz Piano Performance) in 2019 to study with jazz musicians Steve Allee, Sergio Pamies, Christian Li (李谭林) and Michael Clement. Cooperated with a number of jazz musicians-Aaron Jacobs, Phil DeGreg, Craig Bailey, Scott Belck, and was selected as the blue note combo in the school. In 2021, he was admitted to the jazz piano major of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. While studying in the United States, I constantly explored my own music style. Her performance and singing are full of her cute and casual attitude. Someone once commented on her singing: in her, I saw the shadow of Sarah Vaughan and Julie London, but her own characteristics are even more vivid in the performance.
