CET Academic Programs

Formerly known as China Educational Tours, CET offers two programs in Beijing. The intensive Chinese-language program has a full-time language pledge and dorm rooms shared with local Chinese students. The Chinese-studies program, based in Capital Normal University, combines study of Mandarin with Area Studies, emphasizing learning outside the classroom and immersion into the local environment. Ther e is an option to room with a local student. Tuition (Chinese-language program): USD 5,950 (Summer), USD 3,490 (January term), USD 10,450 (Fall or Spring). For even deeper immersion, CET also offers a well-respected language program in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
