Located in Guomao's Yintai Centre, and surrounded by luxury brands such as Bottega Veneta, Tom Ford, and Ralph Lauren, Line Café & Store offers a variety hot drinks (RMB 27-38), sweets (RMB 30-50), and sandwiches (RMB 98!) for parents to refuel inbetween splooging reds while their children are free to run around and play in the accompanying (and massive) "In Kids With Line Friends" play and ball park.
With a mere of 12 seats dotted in the corridor of the shopping center, comfort for the adults is not high on Line's agenda. Instead, focus is on the aforementioned kids play area, which for RMB 588 for two hours of play, you would hope provides the G rated equivalent of a shot of heroin straight to your child's spine.
For a fun day out people watching, go see adults that never matured gormlessly strolling through the Line store fingering all of the overpriced merchandise, taking selfies, and making mental notes on what to buy from Taobao for an nth of the price when they get home.
