Little Monster reside in Shanghai, and as they are set to embark on a tour of South America later in July, the band are trekking up to Beijing to hold a one-off kick-off show with friends up in the north!

Little Monster are F, guitarist of the long-gone and dearly missed Shanghai noise rock duo PAIRS, and Alex, drummer of Shanghai snotpunk Dirty Fingers. Their sound is an amalgam of the two short-fused garage burners with a background wall-of-noise. In late July the duo set off for a month+ long tour of South America. Set to play on this evening with Little Monster are a host of their good friends from Beijing. Maybe Mars psych rockers Gate to Otherside recorded their debut album late last year with Ricky from the Brian Jamestown Massacre, and are turning into one of the true gems of the Beijing underground as they continue to come into their own. Lonely Leary are a post-rock trio from Beijing that incorporate fast drums, muddy baselines, and rough guitar noise to create a relatively violent post-rock sound. Rounding out the bill are Not in Catalog.
