The Lingshan Mountain, with an elevation of over 2,300 meters (7,546 feet), is the highest mountain in Beijing and it has the reputation of being 'Beijing's Mount Everest'. It is located in Mentougou District, Beijing, about 120 kilometers to the west of downtown Beijing.

It’s known as Mount Dongling, Lingshan or Donglingshan, is a mountain in the Western Hills, an extension of the Taihang Mountains.

Notice:

1. Lingshan Mountain has an average temperature 10°c lower than downtown Beijing. Please keep warm and take an extra sweater.

2. Level 4 hikes will usually take 4 hours to complete, and will be a bit difficult for people who are not used to hiking or are out of shape.

3. Take 4 bottles of water enough in the Fall (a bottle of sports drink with salt content is recommended)

4. Bring some lunch and some snacks for after the hike has finished, because it will take some time to get back to Beijing.

5. Comfortable sport shoes (hiking boots are recommended)

Itinerary:

07:30: Departure from Dongzhimen, Yinzuo shoping mall (Ginza-mall)

10:30: Arrive at Lingshan, beginning of hike

17:30: Arrive back in Beijing

You can pay the fee on the bus. Note: You need to confirm your place 2 days before the hike.

Bad weather plan:
We will message you 2-3 days before the hike to let you know about the weather condition. If there is thunderstorm, heavy rain or strong wind it will be dangerous to do the hike in the high mountains. So we will cancel it or change the dates.
