Casa Flamenco will invite great flamenco dancer, choreographer, Nino de los Reyes, and the wonderful flamenco dancer, Triana Maciel, to come to Beijing for a one week Workshop from March 18 to March 23.
Born with the famous flamenco family of Ramon de los reyes and Clara Ramona, Nino de los Reyes started his flamenco career as a child.
His professional career started under director of the “Cumbre Flamenca” Paco Sanchez in the show “Campanas Flamencas” sharing stage with “ la tati” , Antonio Reyes, Joaquin Grilo, and Isaac de los Reyes. Nino has formed part of Eduardo Serrano´s “El Gúito”,Carmen Cortez, Javier Barón and Tito Losada Companies, among others Nino has formed part of Eduardo Serrano´s “El Gúito”, Carmen Cortez, Javier Barón and Tito Losada Companies.He has featured as guest artist at concerts by Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona, Guadiana, Paquete, Jerónimo, Miguel el Rubio, Jesús del rosario, Camarón de pitita and Ramón el Portugues.Nino has taken part in shows of great quality and International Recognition such as Paco Suarez “RomanceroGitano”, Tony Gatlif´s Vertigesand La Celestina by Gerardo Vera.
In recent years, Nino has been invited to do different styles of spectacular such as jazz and contemporary stage art. He cooperated the world level musician such like Paul Simon and Chick Corea.
Nino and Maria will make the Workshop together from March 18 to March 23. The participants will learn the techniques of flamenco dance, the improvisation of Bulerias, the choreography of Alegrias, and the Bata de Cola( long tail skirt).
