As the most forward-looking alternative record label founded by China in the last century, Bad Head by Modern Sky is a legendary name. After stagnation for many years, it reopened in recent years and successively released a series of records to try to retest Chinese contemporary art. The acumen and experimentality of the music scene. Now, after publishing 50 albums, the Bad Head label has begun to move toward “internationalization” and is no longer limited to Chinese music, but will increasingly cooperate with foreign musicians. The latest release is Mamor and Yoshida Tatsuya's album "Journey to the West." This will also launch a small tour for the China-Japan Avant-Garde combination. They will appear at the Beijing Strawberry Music Festival on May 1st, and will host the opening special event on the evening of May 2nd at the Evening Dawn Club - when musicians such as Li Jianhong will help out.


Tatsuya Yoshida: One of the most famous drummers in the world's avant-garde music scene, a giant of Japan's avant-garde music scene, Yoshida founded his most famous orchestra Ruins (Ruins) in 1985, and he was also Leading figures of many bands, such as Koenjihyakkei, Akaten, Korekyojinn, The World Heritage, Zubi Zuva, etc., have collaborated with musicians of various countries to publish many records.


Mamer: A Chinese musician from the traditional to the avant-garde. As a master of the Dongbula masters and Kazakh folk songs, Mamer founded the legendary band IZ (footprint) in 2002 and gradually developed his vast modernity. In music territory, in recent years, Bande, Mekrop, TAT, 51-Rayon, and Kunakar Bands have been established, and various types of personal albums have been introduced.


The two encyclopaedic musicians also have numerous creative branches and temporary combinations. In May 2014, they cooperated for the first time at the first Tomorrow Music Festival in Shenzhen and again in cooperation with Urumqi in October 2016. This time it was prepared and The depth of cooperation, the recording of the two people at that time, is now translated into this set of double-drum masterpiece - "Journey to the West." There are two CDs on the album, one called "See Mountain" and one called "See Water." Each has seven works. Now that each line is on the line, you can roughly appreciate the elegance of this combination.


Mamur and Yoshida also used bass and drums and vocals to create a violent, psychedelic and poetic drama of free improvising music in the land of avant-garde rock.
