Obsessions returns to Aotu for another night of shared sounds and stories. It's like hanging out in the living room of all your coolest friends only with a super handsome bartender mixing drinks for you. Come see what all the buzz is about and prepare to get OBSSESSED.

Taste is increasingly curated by algorithm, but at OBSESSIONS we believe in the power of community and the simple beauty of the phrase, “hey man, check this out.” 

So we want you to bring us your guilty pleasures, your favorite micro-genres, the demo recordings ripped from your MySpace page. We want to know what’s at the bottom of your latest YouTube rabbit hole, or why you really, really love songs about sandwiches. Tell us about an overlooked artist, a forgotten record label, the DIY project you just started with your roommate, or your recent research into back-masking?

The only thing that matters is that it matters to you. 

Give us the obscure and the rare orgive us pop ephemera. OBSESSIONS is a space to tell us about the music you love and why you love it. 

Here’s how it works: Guests will have 30 minutes to walk us through their obsessions track by track or simply introduce themselves and let it rip. 

We have asked some local selectors to get us started but in future sessions we want to hear from you.

Drop us a line at our official Wechat account (Obsessions Beijing) and we will talk you through the submission process. But basically, put some tracks or videos you love on a USB and bring them along. If you need a particular playback device let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate you.
