On March 30, 2019 BlackEXPO returns to Beijing and if you thought that the first year was a lot of fun get ready for a whole new level of lit cultural goodness.

Looking back over the first year we held three events in Beijing, which included opening Beijing Design Week in September and being apart of the US Embassy’s Black History Month program. We also were very humbled to be able to expand to Shanghai this past November. As we move towards our first anniversary we want to take a second to thank everyone for the endless support and love your have poured into the BlackEXPO community. It is our honor to serve with you all and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store for 2019, including the upcoming BlackEXPO on March 30th.

Returning to 27 Courtyard in Beijing’s Dengshikou area, the team at BlackEXPO is once again bringing Beijing an experience unlike any other market or cultural event. With over 60 applicants, we are excited to have a number of new businesses who have chosen BlackEXPO as their desired launching ground. We are also excited to welcome back BlackEXPO favorites and other fixtures in the greater market scene. From all natural artisan beauty products to hand-crafted goods, services, and one of a kind fashion, BlackEXPO has the market to meet all of your needs.

Did you know that BlackEXPO is more than a fun event? Supporters of BlackEXPO have helped to launch a dozen small businesses, creating new outlets and opportunities for creativity and collaboration. Through community support, a number of businesses have gone on to make their mark and become burgeoning powerhouses in their space. We are excited that BlackEXPO has become the place where the community comes together to celebrate our wins and push each other further.

BlackEXPO is also a place to come out and enjoy something new. There is a place for everyone from all cultures and backgrounds to experience BlackEXPO.
