RMB 250/class or RMB 2,000 for 9 classes

In this summer program of creative arts, fine arts, and cultural arts for kids aged 4-10 with local artist and educator Blanca Rosa Raussman, we will be promoting critical and creative thinking through artistic instruction.

The young artists will get an introduction to ten international and well-recognized artists such as Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso, learning about the artist's life as well as learning new skills on a week-to-week basis in an interactive and entertaining environment. Each class will embrace a different artist and a different craft. We will be talking about the specific artist's life or a story at the beginning of the class and then work on sketches in each child's sketchbook, culminating in the final piece.

All materials and sketchbooks are provided. Kids will get a chance to use colored pencils, markers, crayons, oil pastels, chalk, watercolors, acrylics, clay, and much more, as they create their own pieces. At the end of the semester program, we will wrap up the course with an exhibition where kids will be able to show and explain all their creations.

This should also be fun day for parents too!
