An invitation from Xiaojie, director of CandleX, to our newest dog event in town!

Have you seen the face of a dog and your heart just melt away? Dogs have proven to lower the stress we experience in the city, and improve our mood. In the big city of Jing, we are now for the first-time hosting a dog event where we get our fluffy family out to social and have a good time. We also welcome dog lovers who do not have a fluffy soul with them at home to come play and chill. Scientists have concluded the following (info from PsychShow), and at CandleX, we apply them to improve community emotions.

This Feb, we are going to make it happen in Sanlitun, chilling at two bars (and their outdoor section) with drinks and snacks. If you have a story with your dog, we would invite you to share it in an open mic style of 4 mins each. Moreover, we encourage you to bring a toy that your dog is might be bored with for an exchange. Please make sure your toy is still in a good enough condition, washed, sanitized and put in a nontransparent bag. We might play a fun exchange game at our event.

Activities: social drinks, storytelling and a fun dog toy exchange game

Date and time: Sunday, February 28th 2021, 2pm.

Registration: 1:45-2:00pm, find Diana on site.

Meeting location: XL Bar (No.8 Xindong Rd, Chaoyang, Beijing)

Duration: 3 hours (you can come any time from 2-5pm)

Stops: XL Bar, Pi Bar, both in Sanlitun

Early Bird Fee: 160RMB per human (before and on 25th Feb, Friday)

Full Price: 200RMB per human (after 25th Feb)

Spots: 30 dogs max (no more than 1 dog per person)

Please note:

Please ensure that your dogs are vaccinated, and do not bring dogs could possibly attack other dogs.

If you do not come with a dog and want to interact with dogs at the event, please kindly ask the owner first.

Bring your ID and your dog’s ID.

Please dress for the weather as we might spend some time outdoors.

It’s recommended to bring your own dog diaper.

Please look after your pet during the event.
