Join Asian Americans Together Beijing (AAT BJ) on Saturday, Mar 13 at The Great Outdoors for a special screening of Minari. Tickets cost RMB 100, with all proceeds going to StopAAPIHate and Hate is a Virus – two non-profit organizations that were formed in response to the alarming rise in global anti-Asian sentiment following the coronavirus pandemic.
Minari is a 2020 release from director Lee Isaac Chung that tells the story of a Korean-American family who moves from California to a farm in rural Arkansas. Encountering myriad challenges along the way, the family ultimately prevails, and "discover the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home."
