In the Year of Brazil–China Culture, Brazilian Citizens Council’s PAPO Brasil-China features a quiz on both cultures and a space to practice Brazilian Portuguese and Mandarin. This time, the event is hosted nearby Communication University of China.

Free entry. Share with your Chinese friends curious about Portuguese, and with anyone learning Mandarin—both Brazilians and foreigners. 
The event is designed for connection, practice, and networking.

1) Persona Shuffle (Mandarin & Brazilian Portuguese)
A fun game to connect with people while learning interesting phrases in both languages. Speak out loud on the spot—don’t forget!

2) Uncovering Inventions (Brazilian Portuguese)
Discover surprising inventions while learning about people, history, and society through Brazilian Portuguese. Learn and be amazed!

3) Brazilian Literature Quiz (Brazilian Portuguese)
Brazil has a rich literary culture. Get to know top authors, books, and styles while deepening your language skills.

4) Everyday Conversations (Mandarin)
Learn expressions used in daily life that you won’t find in any textbook. Speak with—and like—a true native Mandarin speaker!

Venue: The setting is great—a mix of a Texas-style pub and a Chinese alternative music bar. After the event, there will be a live show by BinGo LaB, a Beijing-based band that blends jazz and hip hop with orchestral instrumentation and an unpredictable mix of styles. An incredible way to close the night!
