The ancient Silk Road connected the east and the west, a major artery for commercial goods, but also for the flow of ideas and spiritual communication. This new exhibition explores the art that was created by the convergence of cultures along the silk road, celebrating the Buddhist art found in Dunhang with spectacular photos of the grottos, and art from within the caves.
