Review of Todai
4

You wanna push the heavy metal concentration in your body to the next level? You enjoy trembling hands and tics from all the mercury, damaging your nervous system?

Then Todai is the right place to go. They offer a huge selection of delicious seafood prepared in a vast variety of styles. Of course some of the dishes are hits and misses but the overall quality is very good. The Sashimi is extraordinarily fresh, thanks too the high turn over. The Sushi rolls are small and delicious. The to order Tepannyaki dishes are a little disappointing. Even though their main focus lies on seafood, they offer a good selection of other dishes, meats, salads, pizza... The desert buffet is extensive, cakes, ice cream, fruit, pudding... and the obligatory chocolate fountain. Haven't had any cake, so cant confirm whether they are jelly-like or not. The Crêpe is decent with a nice variety of toppings to choose from. The Crème brûlée was very delicious but imo prepared with little helpers which don't belong in there. They offer a range of fresh veggie/fruit juices, Bud from the tap and decent wine.

It takes a bit to get used to the labyrinth layout of the restaurant and to get an overview of the things offered. Maybe it is supposed to be part of the dining experience? The staff is friendly and very helpful.

As i am told the selection of food is even better for dinner, but not sure if it is worth it. As a Saturday all you can eat lunch buffet once in a while (especially with 20% off) it is recommendable.
