2. Endure the insufferable bleating of the vacuous middle classes on their problems, which include (but are not limited to) not being able to find a good man in Beijing, the demise of their portfolio of investments and their ayi's inability to buy the right brand of breakfast cereal.
3. Be surrounded by more macbooks than the apple store downstairs being typed on by people who are apparently above working in the office or checking the status of people who are not even their friends in the privacy of their own home.
4. Be forced to buy into the total and utter nonsense that there is such a thing as California Cuisine.
The same level of disappointment albeit without the feeling that you are trapped in a third-rate MTV reality show can be just as easily procured from any branch of 7-11 for a mere 6.5 kuai.
