Location: i tried the one at Shinkong
Environment: Impeccable
Service: Very good
Price: Bloody expensive...........
Food: 3 things i look at when comes to Hotpot:
A) The meats/raw foods: They offers the best quality raw meat from the world, thus charging the most expensive price, you just can't complain much since you want the best, they charge you the max...
B) The soup: I seriously don't like their soup and don't like them charging very high price just because they add more expensive materials into the soup, apparently they don't really care what the customers want..the soup...nahnah..
C) The sauce: Cannot remember what did they offer, or it just doesn't taste good enough for me to remember, once again, offer something which doesn't fit or what the customers want. if you want to charge that price, offer as much sauce as possible, not charging for everything.
Overall: Bad experience, ate RMB 600/pax for super expensive meats in the world but did not leave any good impressions... Their best thing I can remember is the cold dish - The tomyam shrimp...very good...
Hope they can learn to focus in the software rather than doing it the very chinese way of charging the max for the highest quality food, which makes the whole restaurant lack of 'taste'...(a place more for wealthy people to show off)
