Meizhou Dongpo opened several branches near my neighborhood. Tried one of them in Tian Shi Yuan area twice lately, the experiences were both quite pleasant.

If it's not in this restaurant, I would never have the upper part of a leg of pork, aka 肘子/Zhou zi, coz it'd be too fat. Maybe Chairman Mao liked fat meat,as I've heard, but most of ppl, esp young ppl don't. However, the most famous dish Dong po Zhou zi in this restaurant is so delicious that it even makes all the fat part doesnt taste as it used to be. If you want to try this place out, I highly recommend you to order the Dong po zhou zi.

Yesterday was the lantern festival, so we went there to have some rice glue balls. 2 main dishes, rice glue balls, some rice, and also some snacks only cost us 68 kuai, even including a bottle of Budweiser. And we stayed there and watched the lantern festival gala evening show till late. None of the staff didn't show any intolerant and such attitude. Definitely deserves a 4 star rank.
