A Bitter Aftertaste

I've been to Punjabi plenty of times for the buffet and ordered a la carte as takeaway but this was the first time that I had been in and ordered from the menu in some time. Maybe my memory was addled but I don't recall a needless 10% service charge and such exorbitantly priced drinks. I know that this is where restaurants make their profit but around a 400% markup on beer and charging separately for spirits and mixers seems a bit mean-spirited. The service charge ruined what was an already expensive but otherwise lovely meal (albeit with a heavily potato laden vindaloo). Poor form, Punjabi but your buffet remains good value.
