"Where everybody know your name... "

A great bar, and one of the first that I've found in Beijing that isn't an overcrowded, noisy sports pub or a "trendy" cocktail bar. A sports pub that also manages to be elegant in a non-presuming way. It's a great place to come for a beer or cocktail in a couple or with a large group. No matter your reasons for coming out this place makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The owner and manager are often around and will stop and say hi and even remember you on your second or third time in. The food is also quite tasty and works if you want a little bite with drinks (crab cakes, calamari) or a larger meal (the hamburgers are as good as anywhere and can be made to order in a number of ways). Well worth the trip out to Lido and away from the unappealing bars in Sanlitun.
