Went to this restaurant without having read reviews or heard of it before and felt like trying something new instead of going to Vineyard Cafe.
The food was of acceptable/decent quality but not for the prices. The appetizer platter was not bad but didn't come with any pita bread. And the hummus appetizer comes with one serving of pita bread (4 meager sized pieces). This was solved by ordering 6 more orders of bread which doubled the cost of the platter to pretty much 100 yuan.
The paella is a small portion, like everything else, and not worth the 90 yuan price. Good taste to it but I was expecting more rice.
Service was not too shabby. Service can be improved upon if you sit outside. It was difficult getting the staff's attention from outside.
Biggest complaint is the beer. The Qingdao, Yanjing and Budweiser are all cans. I understand you pay more for beverages in a restaurant but 18 yuan gets you a can of Yanjing? Can't they even at least supply the large bottle? They are making a killing on their beer markups.
Could be an ok place for a date, maybe just have appetizers and some wine and then go somewhere else on Wudaoying for a real meal that will be worth its price.
