Review of Home Plate BBQ
The food here is really good. The service here is really good. The whole experience is great.
My first experience of coming here involved me walking in the front door to a huge BBQ on the counter being glazed (or whatever) by one of the workers in the kitchen. It was quite a sight to have in Beijing, for sure. From the home-made BBQ sauce to the very satisfying food and drink, I always make sure to bring my ex-pat buddies here for great, warm conversations and filling, reasonably priced food. Keep up the great work here!

This restaurant may have improved quite a bit since I was there months ago, but I looked unfavorably on their recent promotion. The event was apparently a thank you to their loyal patrons, offering reduced prices to celebrate readers' awards recently received. However, the promotion was between the lunch and supper hours. It seemed more about generating business than a genuine thank you.
