Review of The Taj Pavilion
While all the dishes we ate were fine (aloo chaat appetizer, one lamb dish, masala chai, and two vegetarian dishes), nothing in particular stands out about this restaurant in relation to other Indian options in Beijing. Palak paneer was a very deep "food-coloringesque" green, the lamb dish was a bit expensive for the size, and the masala chais were a bit on the small side. On the other hand, service was great, the naan was cooked perfectly, and the lamb dish was surprisiingly spicy.
If around the area, I certainly would go to Taj Pavilion again, but it is not my go-to place for Indian food in the city.
