I have been to the Wudaokou and Dianmen locations several times. The Dianmen location has a really great feeling with the open courtyard, two terraces, good lighting, and looks over a hutong courtyard home which is unique and one of the great things about it. I have been to a few private parties here and its a great place for a spring/summer/fall outdoor event, because the highest terrace really is a great place to lounge outside.
The food is very good for Italian in Beijing, especially the pizza and gnocci. If you are looking for an American pizza with tons of cheese, this is not the place, but the pizza really lets you taste all of the ingredients together and always tastes fresh. Raviolis taste good but are expensive. The only food I have not liked here was the sausage pizza because the quality of the sausage just wasn't good. Desserts are interesting and I have had some items that I have never had before like the pannecotta. Food usually takes some time if its crowded, but the foreign managers will do their best to make you happy. One of the few restaurants that I go out of my way to go to.
