Would be great to see this place succeed, as the location is great and I feel this area needs more options for a weekend brunch!
We went the other day for a late brunch, but I must say, if we wouldn't have read about the place before, we would not have known it is open.
In fact, I pass by this place every day, and it just looks so uninviting. The one poster/sign to the left is just not sufficient to even make people aware that this is a restaurant. With the door closed and not much light, it does not feel welcoming at all.
We went in and straight to the roof terrace, which for me was the main attraction for this place. One other table was occupied in the entire restaurant, also on the roof terrace.
Unfortunately the sun was quite strong that day, and with no place to hide, it was a difficult decision if we should move back in, or take the heat. Maybe sunshades would be a good investment for the owner? Also, it is hard to get the attention of the waiter, as they do not linger upstairs.
Anyway, our main problem was actually with the food. The eggs benedict were seriously undercooked, basically a soggy raw egg. The soup we ordered was far from hot. Everything else was average at best, nothing you could not get anywhere else. For the price we paid, this was a disappointment.
I think I read somewhere that the place is in soft opening, but seriously, is the term "soft opening" really meant to justify bad food?
As said in the title, this place really has potential, but needs improvement. First of all better food, and please make this place look more inviting from the outside!

Re: Has potential, but...
I went several times to the old location. They make such a big deal out of not letting you in one second before the opening time, and they never want to let you sit at any table other than where they want you to, even claiming that the entire restaurants tables had already been reserved at 10:30 in the morning, when there wasn't a soul around for the next hour. It seems like they look for an argument as soon as you arrive. Food was also slow, felt they just could care less about you, so I just stopped going.

If there's no table/chairs on the sidewalk with a view of the "river"….what's the point????
