Having recently moved to Beijing, I was frustrated at not being able to watch my sports live. Until i found this place lost in the alleys. I was a bit aprehensive at first when I saw the location on the map but a quick phone call confirmed they would be open for game 6 of the Stanley Cup.
I got there bright and early on Sunday morning where i was surprised to see a packed house: So there were sports fans in this town after all.
It's small, that's for sure but the whole vibe was super cozy and I enjoyed chatting up a group of exchange students from Boston (sorry guys). The owner was friendly, checking up on everyone as he juggled making breakfasts and vietnamese coffee.
Good drink menu with affordable prices and one hell of a rum selection! For such a tiny place, that's almost a miracle. I'm not sure trader's vicks back home has so many. The breakfast was tasty and i even came back that same evening for their Morrocco food.
It's a bit of a long way for me to get there all the time but i know where i'm gonna be watching my games from now on. See you when NFL season starts!
