I would call this place a hidden gem if it were just a little bit bigger and had a bathroom. Alas, it doesn't. I've discovered it mostly because of sports but I have been coming back for the food: There is absolutely nothing like it in Beijing right now and at the prices, it's a steal. I am surprised that there is more attention on their sports and rum. There are other sports bar in town and we can also find some rums. But the food is unique! The good stuff: - Unique Morocco dishes that taste fantastic. - One of the best values ever on monday night when all the food is half priced - Old school chef menu on sundays when the owner picks new dishes for the evening. - 25 CNY vedett draft Smile - No smoking... - The portuguese house wine for 120 a bottle is the bomb. The not so good: - quality can go down sometimes on monday when they get really busy and are churning out food for a full house - I love the sunday specials but they could have more choices or at least allow us to get some items from the normal menu - no bathrooms - Comparatively hard to find. - Confusing menus with what's available and what is not. It can't be that hard to get someone to fix that. On sunday, a meal for two including a bottle of wine was about 300 CNY... It's hard to beat in Beijing for that level of quality.
