TINDER TINDER TINDER!

I’m a 48 year old man and I use TINDER! I admit it and I am proud! And I was lucky that several months ago, I matched with Lisa (the owner) on TINDER. That wonderful dating site that made dating as easy as swiping left or right. I swiped right and so did she! Usually all the 20 year old Mongolian hookers are my only matches so HOT DAMN! I felt blessed and lucky! How easy it all was, so we decided to exchange Wechat’s and agreed to meet for a date at The View 3912 about six weeks ago.

We set the terms of the date beforehand (like a business contract), which allowed us to skip the awkwardness of who was paying the bill. I’m a 250 pound guy, it would like pretty bad if I was fighting for the bill with this petite woman. We decided to “Go Dutch” and split it 50/50. Which turned out to be under 800 RMB a person with wine. One could argue that it was expensive, this is Beijing! Beijing is one of the most expensive places in the world! Therefore, if you want quality you are going to pay for it! If you want to eat McDonald’s then go to McDonald’s! No one is going to stop you. And considering the neighborhood this was comparable in price to other quality restaurants in the CBD area.

The view was very romantic fortunately, the pesky PM 2.5 was only around 100, so our view was unobstructed.

We had 5 courses and each course was exquisite. I was confident that the attention to detail was constant, not just because I was eating with the boss.

We had a very amicable conversation and a wonderful dinner together. Unfortunately, there was no spark between us, I’m sure it was me. Maybe it was the wisps of gray in my hair, the wrinkles under my eyes, or the fact that I was no longer pushing 40 but closer to 50. We concluded the date just as we had agreed upon, with a 50/50 split. We said our good byes and I was escorted to the elevator by one of the staff.

I have no complaints, and I am proud of have met her on Tinder! As a 48-year-old man, I don’t get as many swipes right, compared to if I was 28.

I had a wonderful time with an attractive woman. I never felt forced or coerced into anything. I accepted her suggestion to have dinner at HER restaurant; she DID NOT force me to go there. I WENT THERE UNDER MY OWN POWER AND WILL!

To the boys trying to defame this poor woman. It’s time to grow up and grow a pair, this isn’t high school anymore. It’s time to stop circle jerking on a biscuit and do something productive with your life. But I will give credit to Ohshipseju at least he admitted that his review was fake news. “Incidentally, you're right. I've never paid to eat there.” (Bravo! Now go work for CNN!)
