When I heard about Culture Yard, I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. A courtyard in the Hutongs of Beixinqiao... I'd been in Beijing not even a couple of months and I still wasn't real sure what a Hutong was, let alone how to order a coffee.
My mate and I, classic English lads only able to speak their mother tongue...English! Well, we pulled up to Culture Yard to discuss a bit further, what classes would be best for us. We lived far out West Beijing (an hour away on the subway) and our work timetable didn't really allow for most of the group class times offered. So, the owner of Culture Yard sat down with us and we managed to work around this to find a time that suited us best. And it really was the best. We signed up to the survival classes and we were lucky enough to get Qi Lao Shi, who was the happiest lady I've ever met in China.
Learning with Qi Lao Shi was fun, interesting and most importantly, IT STUCK! I hold my hands up and admit that I am an awful student, however learning at Culture Yard with Qi Lao Shi really did help me a lot. The way the lessons are planned, and including lots of practical and even outdoor excursions! It wasn't just the teacher that we had though, it was the whole environment and vibe about the place. Culture Yard is it's own little community/ family. They're great people to just have a chat to AND THEY HAVE HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!
If you want more than just a Chinese lesson, then Culture Yard is for you. I only wish that I lived more central Beijing, so that I could attend their other events more also.

You guys really need to stop the fake posts, this is what, number 10?
Easy giveaway when this is the user's only post and has been a Beijinger member for only a few hours (just like all the other fake posts)... Also, an "English lad" would type in native English. Silly silly!

Culture Yard appear to be an incredibly shady company. Now watch how their owner comes along and calls us scum.

Wow another fake review for this company. Someone should report them to the website so no one gets tricked into wasting their money.

The reviewer says:
> My mate and I, classic English lads only able to speak their mother tongue...English!
And then goes on and talks like someone who learnt American English.
I understand why The Beijinger allow these fake reviews - they want some (any) activity on the website so they allow people post fake or ridicuous stuff (see the forums). As long as they allow usto continue pointing out the reviews are fake, I think it's ok to continue allowing them.

In the still continuously class for the twenty hours with the learning of the cultural festivals have been approved the statement. Elsewhere the timetables on the http://www.ukbesteessays.com/ website have appointed my 20 hours class along with whole year.
