A while back, when I was looking for places to study Chinese, I came across That's Mandarin. I was looking for a place nearish my house, had in-person lessons (and online just in case), and fit my schedule. Thats Mandarin happened to be the closest to me and gave me slightly better options than a couple other places.
They have a bunch of different types of classes that fit different schedules. I started with the intensive classes during the summer. I wanted to try and get a lot in, in a short time. This was definitely the way to go. The teachers were nice and very professional, I learned tons, and made new friends. I recently moved to a 1 on 1 since my schedule is wild, and I'm still enjoying it.
One thing I think that seperates them from other places is the nihaocafe website. I honestly didn't think too much of it when they initially told me about it, however now, I use it all the time. It's super helpful. The teacher can throw in different and specific vocab or sentence structures that aren't necessarily in the lesson and you can check them out later. There's videos and other cool stuff.
I've recommended That's Mandarin to people whose Chinese is better and worse than mine and they all seem to really enjoy it and continue to go. If you're interested in learning or improving your Chinese I would definitely recommend them.
